Exercise Lowers Risk of Disease
Exercise
lowers risk of disease, including heart disease, and enhances mood. Exercise regularly, including
resistance
and
interval
exercises, 5-7 times per week. Exercise in the morning if possible, and only when you feel strong. Exercise
volume
is the key: the total number of steps, cycles, repetitions, lifts, etc. multiplied by the effort or weight involved - this applies to both aerobic exercise and resistance exercise. If you have difficulty speaking clearly while exercising, then it is probably the right level. You should notice a decrease in your resting heart rate, and the length of time it takes to return to your resting heart rate after exercise, after a few weeks or months of exercise.
